Quarter 2 Update (Dec ‘22-May ‘23)

Those who trust in the LORD
are like Mount Zion,
which cannot be shaken
but endures forever.

Psalm 125:1 (NIV)

In Christ, we are Unshakeable!

The world continues to be shaken, but those who “trust in the LORD cannot be shaken” (Psalm 125:1). As we grow in our faith, we will trust in God more. When troubles, temptations, or tough situations come our way, we will not be shaken but endure because God’s grace will sustain those who trust in Him.

We are continuing to release God’s Unshakeable Love by wrapping God’s family around the lost, the last, and the least in our county and beyond.

We hope this update encourages you to follow Jesus and listen for God’s direction to embrace His best for your life.

Facility Improvements Update

Facility Improvement Update:

Our Unshakeable generosity initiative is investing $800,000 into advancing the Kingdom of God in addition to what we annually invest for 2023 and 2024. With these additional funds we are updating our facility. We are currently working with an interior designer who specializes in churches to guide us in updating our KiDS and Student spaces. In our Early Childhood rooms we will be replacing carpet, replacing furniture, and painting. In our Grade School spaces we will be adding acoustic treatments, upgrading the lighting, and creating a space Grade Schoolers will love. In our Middle and High School space we will be replacing the flooring, upgrading the lighting, and making it more engaging for our teenagers. In our Community Room we are finalizing the plan to upgrade our lighting and sound. We look forward to implementing these changes throughout the end of the year.

New Construction Update:

In the fall of 2022, we asked architects to draw up plans to add 7,000 s.f. of a new lobby, a new hallway, and new restrooms. Over the last two quarters, we have been working with a General Contractor to get an estimated price for this new construction. This cost was $3.7M. Through prayer, our Pastoral Team, Finance Team, along with the Pastoral Elders at our parent church, have decided to ask the architects and builders to explore an alternative solution to adding the space we need. We will be exploring these options over the next couple of months. We want to steward the resources we have as best we can to glorify God while pursuing the best solution to add the space we need. Please continue to pray with us as we pursue God’s will and plan.
